Une forêt de sapins de Noël

A small forest of Christmas trees

As you cross Pont Marie from l'Île Saint Louis
this stand of trees greets you with its silver and blue bows.
Little pockets of decoration and celebration
such as this can be enjoyed all over Paris.

Elegant sight made perfect by that little dash of red in the metro sign.

Isn't this beautiful! Lifting up a rainy December-Paris-day!

This is pleasingly graceful and stylish in appearance. It's enough to get me into the Christmas spirit.

What an unexpected surprise! Who decorates this? It definitely is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Very tasteful. I hope those bows are tied on well though. It's very windy here... Wishing you a very happy Christmas, Genie.

Interesting how they pulled down the bottom branches to hide the trunks. Those French, they think of everything!
