Le Poissonnier
Marché d'Aligre
On Sunday mornings he is usually just inside the covered market
as you enter the door from rue Theophile Roussel.
He is knowledgeable about the products, intense, and personable.
You can see why I come back frequently.

It was interesting for me to see what has become of the "City Photo Blog" trend. It used to be pretty informal when I started blogging. I don't think there was any central page, and certainly not this fancy central site. I'm looking forward to checking some of them out. I always liked the concept, but one must be so diligent!
Yes, yes... I can, but smells fishy one block away...
;-(Joking)
You know Paris so well Genie.
That's good! I tend to be passionate about food, too, especially when I'm hungry. :-)
I'm a seafood lover. I'd be at home here.
>Betty C, It still is an informal site; many of us have actually met one another and the skill level varies considerably. I, of course, miss many who are just a fond memory and are no longer posting here, but CDP is still friendly and going strong.
Genie, you picked a real cutie for this theme day.
What a very handsome young man Genie, I think my weekly fish order could take some discussion :)
A wonderful character study!
An excellent portrait of a man at work, Genie.
Ah, yes, Genie. I CAN see why you keep going back . . . !
He can sell me fish any day. :~}
Il est mignon...
Tres jolie!
I would be heading back frequently too! ;-)
Fresh fish and, uhm, nice scenery, too.
Great shot. I wonder if he is mobbed by cats on the way home.
I can see the attraction, Genie, but methinks he could do with a new scarf ...
Yum - a mouth-watering photo indeed!
