la Pleine Lune

The Full Moon over Paris

I have seen the rising full moon a few times in Paris,
and it always makes me realize how small the world is.

I hope that you will have clear skies and can enjoy the full moon tonight.
I will be watching it seven hours later than the Paris full moon from my city.
If you miss the rising, you can always watch it set in the early pre-dawn hours.
Just as magnificent setting in the western sky.

Perfect composition Genie. I do like the way the circular windows in the attic seem to mimic the moon.

From the lighted window,
I can listen a lullaby...

Oh, that's excellent! Still, Paris seems a sea away. :-)

That's a wonderful shot!
It's raining here so no full moon for me tonight. However I'll be in Paris during the next full moon. :-)

Danar, thank you for that link to the beautiful music of Claude Debussy... mesmerizing

Revrunner, it is a sea away today, but there is always next month and another full moon

James, I wish that I was going to be there then. You will have to share your adventures and discoveries.

Merci à vous tous...
