Haut les mains!

Victoria Antiquités

These hands appear to be touching the blue skies of Paris

They were over a corner shop, Victoria Antiquités,
which displayed a wealth of treasures in the store windows.

It pays to look up, doesn't it! These make a fabulous silhouette against the sky. Nicely found, Genie.

I thought of a sign for a gloves shop..
I like the silhouette on the blue sky!

Not sure I get the connection between camo hands and antiques—but I love that you saw this, shot it, and shared it!

I agree with Virginia, it looks like a pair of hands in camo! Beautiful and unique photo. :)

Paris is the city to be always looking up! A wonderful quirky capture Genie perfectly set against the bluest of skies. xx

How odd. You would expect them to represent a nail salon or something like that.

Excellent sign.

I really did not make the connection between this shop and the sign (without words). Perhaps there had been a glove maker in this space in a previous time or a nail salon?

I am at a loss to explain the camo pattern.
