Salon de Thé -- Le Musset

The bright, oversized decorations of Le Musset can be seen from a block away. No reason to be chased inside with inclimate weather... just duck into the heated area protected from the wind and order the Berthillon ice cream for dessert... brrrrrr!

Tea in a lovely shop. Looks like a lot of fun — perhaps too much.

(Can there ever be too much fun?)

Berthillon is my favorite ice cream when I am in France.

Loved those decorations! Always a sign we were almost back "home".

They are so creative there, and the result is fabulous!
I'm curious about this place, I think I need to come back to Paris as soon as possible! :)

All I can say is, the French do it up right!!! In Oklahoma, if one has assembled 10,000 LED lights from roof to tree to shrub, we're impressed. While I applaud that effort, I much prefer the creative imagination of the French and the sense of wonderment for the season that they evoke from me! I love this display!

Wow—nice capture! Wonder where they find the space to store all that the rest of the year. (BTW, I've stood outside the Berthillon shop on Ile Saint Louis, cone in hand, in a snowstorm.)

That is wonderful. Every year I become more convinced that we need large scale. Maybe it is fading vision . . .

How nice there was a pedestrian in the photo so we can see how BIG the decorations really are! :)

In for a penny, in for a pound! Usually I err heavily on the side of discreet, but I love the joyfulness on display here, Genie.
