This morning when we woke up, this is the view from our apartment window looking out on Saint-Roch. The many surfaces of the roof were coated in white. What a beautiful winter scene in Paris!
The last time I was in Paris, the temps were in the 20s, but never snowed. Still didn't stop us from being out and about! Just had more café crème breaks!
Beautiful Genie! Because of the cold weather, it seems to me that it would be the perfect time to indulge in "choucroute garnie", "boeuf Bourguignon" "fondue"... and of course crepes.
So beautiful picture with the snow, a poetic feeling and I love the window composition! Always a creative post here, thanks so much! :) hugs and stay warm okay! Léia

I understand it is a lot colder and snowier in Europe than usual. Bonnne chance, mes amis.
Bear - Merci! You are right... this is great weather for bears! Plenty of snow, but time is too short for us to hibernate in Paris!
Parigi!
Buona domenica

Gorgeous....I hope it snows in Feb. when I'm there.
Crikey, you DO get around....
I was in France on Thursday and thought I recognised you, but dismissed the idea immediately.
Je suis desolé
I think JB is pulling your leg but he gets around as well so maye not!
I'm thrilled to see this view and know that I'll be standing right there one month from TODAY!!! :)
Have a great day à Paris!

Snow becomes Paris!!!
I would have closed the shutters, turned up the heat and went back to bed.
What a view! Love the snow dusting on the church roof. Bon dimanche!
You're a lucky woman, Genie! And we're lucky that you captured this beautiful image for us. Merci bien!
I can't believe one can have this beautiful a view out an apartment window. I hope you study it for hours and hours, in all kinds of lighting.

I've been busy lately but I look forward to catching up with your wonderful Paris adventure. :)
