La Tour Eiffel, la Seine, et des Ponts

Paris at Night

The mighty bronze sculptures of Pont Alexandre III
gaze nightly at "the tower" as it lights up the evening sky.

I have stood on this same spot in all kinds of weather,
and I can close my eyes to be transported there in my imagination.

bon weekend

I do so love the perspective in this one Genie. Brilliant idea to photograph the Eiffel Tower from over the sculpture's shoulder. The opening scene to a show and we are part of the audience.

What a glorious photo! I love the way there are different types of golds in the background, midground, and foreground.

Le risque majeur que cours cette capitale, c'est de devenir une ville-musée par l'incurie de ses politiques...

All the golden dream that Paris is. Including things not included in the image, the wind, the accordion music, lovers, the cheese and baguette, a glass of a good wine. Yes... a good spot to simply take silent conscience.
Thank you Genie, for so beautiful gift.
