La patineuse artistique

In the bright midday sun of a winter day,
the ice skaters moved around the temporary ice rink
in front of Hôtel de Ville.

This young woman was in a world of her own
as she gracefully made her turns, jumps and spins.

I have been off the blog map for a while...

As said above, this is a beautiful shot.

Is that skating rink still up?

I like it so much...! In her own inner lake, she reminded me The Lake of Swans !
Thank you Genie... for keeping high your flight !

Nice capture, Genie. The skaters who become competitive must devote untold hours to their craft. Let's imagine that we will see this young woman at perhaps the 2020 Olympics.

Great capture of the gesture. Freedom, flight, joy, it's all there.
