Carriage lamps and red geraniums

The clear Paris sky
provided a serene backdrop
for these carriage lamps
and red geranium flower boxes

Si le ciel de Paris pouvait être aussi clair que dans vos rêves !...

Can you imagine what a scene like this might be like in the late evening if those were gas lamps? Or maybe they are.

How enchanting. I think I should like to walk there. Now.

With no clue of now a days living, it is easy "to hear" those horses and carriages and assume walkers using clothes of late XIX century, in the light of these lamps. Thank you Genie, I enjoyed it a lot.

I have red geraniums growing in a window box to remind me of Paris! Lovely shot.
