Marché aux Fleurs

Flower Market

The flower market on Ile de la Cité
has attracted both avid gardeners
and curious passersby since 1830.

Located near Notre Dame in
Place Louis Lépine,
it is worth strolling through.

As much a part of Paris now as the Eiffel Tower.

Love this. I remember seeing the markets when visiting Paris.

A favorite spot. My theory is that if you are passing through Ile de la Cite, why not take the pretty route through the marche?

Hi Genie!
I just love flowers. Their majestic simple beauty, their poetic silence, their existence. They always remind me that even though we are not gonna live for ever in this world, we can always make our time count.
I wish I were in this flower market :)

Have a great day!
Lots of sunny smiles ;)
