Le Parc de Bercy

Le Parc de Bercy
La Maison du Jardinage

In late March one can only see
the slightest promise of a spring and summer.

The old vines cling to the house season after season,
and the new growth comes to life in verdant green.

Is this Virginia Creeper Genie. Our's in the antipodes is vibrant red at the moment and will soon loose all its leaves. Happy Easter wishes to you Genie.

Hello Genie,

The vine is clinging on to the last vestiges of winter but, those tell tale green shoots show that spring is nearly upon us. Such a wonderful image of hope and renewal that always is associated in our minds with Easter. Wishing you a joyful Easter!

Since the closed window seems a tombstone, I call this picture ... "Resurrection".
Beautiful photo with thousands of stories behind that window closed. Genie Thanks for the inspiration to emerge and grow!

Was a long time ago when these shutters were opened. Thanks for showing.

I wish that our cities make more and better use of shutters; they can be great additions to a building.

Beautiful. I had the same thought about these shutters—that they have not been opened in quite a while.

Those vines will look different in a couple of months.
