Tabac - Cherche Midi Presse

A tabac is licensed to sell tobacco products
as well as newspapers and stamps.

Apparently it is good to have a friend along
to spend the day greeting customers.

Les marchands de tabac parisiens ne sont pas forcément les commerçants parisiens les plus aimables. Je ne me risquerai pas à lui faire une remarque sur le manque d'hygiène...pourtant, il y aurait de quoi.

Ha! I first thought you meant the dog had been licensed to sell. Well, he probably does. :-)

I love this picture! Coincidentally, earlier today I was thinking about a street photo that I passed up. It across the street from this place at Le Rousseau (a man in the window). Do you ever see an interesting person and think "he or she would make a great photo" but for some reason you don't take the picture? :-)

Alain, c'est très intéressant.

James, yes, I thought you might know this spot. There have been many times when I missed a shot (for being slow) but try never to hesitate on an interesting person. Crazy to say, but I often wonder about the people I photograph from afar and what their lives are like.

Revrunner, very funny!

So glad that you all enjoyed the little pooch. S/He almost looks like a Furbee.

Bises,
Genie
