Église Saint Pierre de Montmartre

Église Saint Pierre de Montmartre

Consecrated in 1147, this church is dwarfed by Sacre Coeur
and almost ignored by the tourists...
which makes it worth exploring.

It must be nice to find a spot like this in Paris that isn't full of tourists...

Seeing a clock in church amuses me.

I loved this little church! (And thank you for not letting me ignore it.)

The organ pipes are impressive! I've seen a clock in a sanctuary before, but it's been a long while.

Lovely. How very interesting to see the clock on the organ but it makes sense (assuming there is a keyboard below where the organist is sitting) so he or she can track the time!

Not that I'm watching the clock. :-)
