Carrousel Venitien - Place Saint-Pierre

Wondering what to do in Paris this week?

You can ride 20 carousels for free (gratuit) between December 17th and January 1, 2012
between the hours of 10am and 7pm.
Here is the link to the list with the arrondissement and location of each.

The beautiful double-decker Carrousel Venitien is not one of them
but it has a wonderful view of Sacré Coeur.

(another counter-clockwise rotation)

Would love to rise up onthe top deck ... I am sure it is a very different perspective. What a fun thing to do at Christmas time, let the children ride gratuit!

Poor planning on my part...should be in Paris to ride the carousels rather than Santa Fe. But, then again...

Hope that you have a wonderful New Year's and may 2012 bring you much happiness, good health and prosperity of economics with generosity of spirit!

How gorgeous ~ I can never see too many of these, Genie. Another great reason to be in Paris at Christmas time. {Not that one needs a reason!}
