Merry Christmas from the warmer climate of Indian Rocks Beach, FloridaHelen xx
Ah, you can indeed! And our weather outside is frightful -- well, I'm probably just a chicken when it comes to weather these days! Beautiful capture, Genie, as always!HugsSylvia
Le rêve... J'aime particulièrement cette prise... Elle paraît si sereine.gros bisous
I guess summer is only a few months away.
If this dreamy window display is, indeed, by Chanel, I am certainly glad Karl Lagerfeld is nowhere in sight. He might have ruined it all! [Didn't they have a whole window full of miniature Karls this year?!] Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
Charming decoration! :)Léia
warmer weather on way the coming days, your picture prepares us !
Is the weather frightful in Paris at the moment? Hope you're keeping warm with some chocolat chaud !
Much more beautyful than the GALAF (as we say in France for Galeries Lafayette) window!and so dreamy!
Ah, spring is around the corner and it can't come too soon for me. I'm not a cold weather person. I can almost hear the song "It might as well be spring."Joyeux Noël to you and your family Genie.Sam
The french really know how to do windows. I miss that here in my town. This has lots of textures and elegance. Really beautiful.
I love the colors and the myriad of textures (from the gauzy dress to the dried grass) ... absolutely dreamy. Only reinforces the fact that I have to get to Paris in time to see the Christmas windows someday ... merci Genie for bringing me a taste of them!
I prefer the colder temperatures. Nice shot though.
It sure doesn't look like a December window display.
Malyss, I just added GALAF to my off-beat French vocabulary... merci!Brittany, I am in Mobile with temperatures requiring the use of our air conditioner, but I think that the temps in Paris are seasonably cool, but certainly not frightful. I will be returning to Paris in a few weeks and will give an update!Veronique, I am with you! This is a Chanel window with all its elegance and luxury... not a snarky face to be seen!Bises,Genie
The weather outside is delightful, very sunny and warm so ......"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas".May the peace and joy of Christmas be with you and your family in 2012.
Oh I missed this one yesterday. LOVELY, I feel like I might be in Monte Carlo now!V
The windows were so gorgeous this year! I was so happy to have been able to see them :-)
