La Cour

La cour?

Oui, la petite cour...

This was a public area inside a small passageway, a little courtyard with a single boutique. There were residences above with open windows, windowboxes and CDs used to frighten away the pigeons (hah!)

C'est une cour plus petite. Mais interresant. Qu'avez-vous acheté dans la boutique?

Great shot, Genie! I can see this as a terrific spot for a photo shoot with models!

Very small courtyard I see. Funny with the fallen C.

I like the black and white Genie it gives that air of emptiness.

Meanwhile I'm having a frustration time, I post my today photo as there seems to be a problem with blogger. Ah well, eventually I hope.

Best wishes

Iam very busy on the moment with photography in the nature all over Europe! So excuses for some late comments to you!
This picture is what Paris is, always and everywhere surprises, moments of attention in a great city, carried by your love!

Je pense que les lettres de COUR sont idéales pour servir d'aéroport aux pigeons :-)
Mais les pigeons font aussi partie de Paris... :-)

Catching up on blogging this morning and what a delight to scroll through your last few posts. Can't decide which is my favorite, bleu or les macarons! One photo really does tell a story. Amazing!

This was such a quaint little courtyard. I loved the old water faucet and how it contrasted with the bright, shiny, modern letters. It looks wonderful in B&W!

the letters look somewhat too clean bright and shiny for this little cour; and yet again, because it is Paris, it works ! it definitely works !

Don't you just love to step into a little courtyard and discover an artful surprise like this? Good find, Genie!
(I'm guessing the CDs were not an effective pigeon deterrent?

What an interesting photo. This is my first visit to your blog, so I've taken some time to browse and familiarize myself with what you do. I'm so glad I did that. You've created a wonderful spot for your readers to visit and I really enjoyed the time I've spent here. I'll definitely be back. I hope you have a wonderful day. Blessings...Mary

Well, it is interesting, but I would far rather have seen them turn it into a garden.
