Green is lively. Green is spring — nice to be outside, but have a good overcoat handy.
Oh Genie, that is gorgeous, how I wish I was sitting there chatting to a friend.Best wishesGrace
GREAT IMAGE!THANK YOU!MEGI
Soon that will be me! x
Мечтаю посидеть на зелёном стульчике! ;)
You've caught a pretty typical scene!
you captured such a lovely moment between these two. They both look so relaxed - they know how to do it! And it works so well with the out of focus greenery in the foreground.
Ah, hiding behind the bushes?
Yes, they are having a great time together.
I love this picture...Pierre
But I wonder if they are not only friends, but also sisters. Their profiles are so similar in many respects.
Friendly moment in so amazing composition!Léia
And the light on their faces is wonderful!V
Love the Tuileries! I can't wait to grab a sandwich there around the fountain!
What a wonderful composition! A delighful tete a tete vert!
Hi Genie!I've missed looking at your gorgeous images. I'll have to trail back to see some of your old posts. As for this photo..what a shot! I love it! I love how comfortable and real these two ladies look. They look like real friends
A delightful moment captured!!! When I see those green chairs...this is what I envision!!!
Green is such a peaceful color. Great shot!
One thing is for certain about the crazy French people...one will never be able to tell what the weather is like from the way they're dressed!
Le vert est une couleur remplie d'espoir... C'est un anti-stress, elle apporte un équilibre mental...Gros bisous
You forgot 'green with envy'—what I am as I see them there in the jardin! :~}
I guess green was the colour of the day.
Yes, and it's chilly, so they've drawn up their legs, pulled their sleeves over their hands and are sitting in the last rays of sunshine. Not wanting to leave just yet, they are enjoying one another's company while they keep their eyes on the little ones, who are not affected by the chill. Your pictures of people always tell stories, Genie!
Those are some of the best moments.
two friends chatting and relaxing in summer...perfect...

Chieftess -- I would love some of those green chairs for my garden and I would have to transport the limestone gravel/soil too!Jeanne -- Green just feels so fresh and new in the spring... merci, mon amieStarman -- Well, you are right about that one! However, these two were just appropriately dressed as the sun was setting and it was getting cool in the parkmartine -- C'est vrai and vert est une couleur qui est parfait pour printemps... merciAlexa -- Well, then we just match perfectly - hah!Loree -- It was on this glorious afternoon in Jardin des Tuileries... merci!Liz -- You are very observant, my friend. The fact that this is a common scene does not detract from it being an appealing one, which you captured well. The personalities of the two girls and their comfort with one another come through.
Jack -- It seemed as if they had been there for several hours from the empty bottles beneath the chairs. Merci, for all that you notice...
Le jardin des Tuileries est l'un de mes préférés. Grands espaces, jolis massifs, chaises accueillantes. Beaucoup de monde, mais dans le respect de chacun.Un lieu propice pour donner un rendez-vous galant...
Such a sweet photo capturing one of the most lovely moments of life ~ time shared with a friend ~ xox Alexandra
They seem to have a great time! I hope that one day I will sit there myself with a friend.
