Jardin des Tuileries -- Vert

Green folliage, green chairs, green bottles...

Love the ambiance of this park scene in Jardin des Tuileries: two friends and color coordination all around

Green is lively. Green is spring — nice to be outside, but have a good overcoat handy.

You've caught a pretty typical scene!

you captured such a lovely moment between these two. They both look so relaxed - they know how to do it! And it works so well with the out of focus greenery in the foreground.

But I wonder if they are not only friends, but also sisters. Their profiles are so similar in many respects.

Hi Genie!
I've missed looking at your gorgeous images. I'll have to trail back to see some of your old posts.

One thing is for certain about the crazy French people...one will never be able to tell what the weather is like from the way they're dressed!

Le vert est une couleur remplie d'espoir... C'est un anti-stress, elle apporte un équilibre mental...
Gros bisous

You forgot 'green with envy'—what I am as I see them there in the jardin! :~}

I guess green was the colour of the day.

Yes, and it's chilly, so they've drawn up their legs, pulled their sleeves over their hands and are sitting in the last rays of sunshine. Not wanting to leave just yet, they are enjoying one another's company while they keep their eyes on the little ones, who are not affected by the chill. Your pictures of people always tell stories, Genie!

Bear -- It was a bit chilly on this day but no wind so if you sat in the sun it was quite comfortable

Grace -- Merci, and I do too!

Marie -- Merci, and it was a fun stroll with you and Peter

Chieftess -- I would love some of those green chairs for my garden and I would have to transport the limestone gravel/soil too!

Jeanne -- Green just feels so fresh and new in the spring... merci, mon amie

Starman -- Well, you are right about that one! However, these two were just appropriately dressed as the sun was setting and it was getting cool in the park

martine -- C'est vrai and vert est une couleur qui est parfait pour printemps... merci

Alexa -- Well, then we just match perfectly - hah!

Loree -- It was on this glorious afternoon in Jardin des Tuileries... merci!

Randy -- Indeed!

The fact that this is a common scene does not detract from it being an appealing one, which you captured well. The personalities of the two girls and their comfort with one another come through.

Jack -- It seemed as if they had been there for several hours from the empty bottles beneath the chairs. Merci, for all that you notice...

Le jardin des Tuileries est l'un de mes préférés. Grands espaces, jolis massifs, chaises accueillantes. Beaucoup de monde, mais dans le respect de chacun.
Un lieu propice pour donner un rendez-vous galant...
