Shell -- The first time I was here was with my daughter and they were having a service -- The voice of an absolute angel filled the basilica. It gave me chill bumps.

Shari -- The crowd inside is just fine but spirituality is not the primary reason for the gathering crowd on the front steps. It is a beautiful basilica.
M -- He is almost hidden but looks like he is leaping from the roof!

Randy -- You can see it from across Paris so you know it is huge, but when you get as close as I was for this shot, it hits you just how massive the basilica is.
Richie -- So glad that you stopped to say "hi" -- Yes, when you sit on these steps you can on clear days view an incredibly beautiful city. People at Centre Pompidou are looking this way and admiring from the other direction!
Ah, Montmartre... I lived very close to the Sacre Coeur for a while, and that arrondissement remains part of my heart and soul. Like the angle, and yes, I much prefer Montmartre in the winter when there are fewer people...
Bibi -- You are quite the envy of all of us who have never lived in Paris. I do feel fortunate to have come to know this incredible city, discovering her secrets little by little.

I was there just 2 weeks ago sitting to listen a couple singing outside the Sacre Coeur was so good
