Moules ou Mussels?

Moules or mussels?

As fond as I am of the handwritten chalkboard menus of Paris, this one leaves me cold.  The English translation combined with the perfect lettering abandons the charm of the handwritten French.

What do you think?

Not sure Genie, but I wouldn't eat any mussels. Just the french fries!

No arguments on the graphic style but all of them look just delicious!

I agree. In Franc I always worry that if a restaurant speaks English, it's likely to be for tourists. We certainly found that to be the case in Arles where the restaurant looked just like a Van Gogh painting. The food was piled high on the plate and wasn't very good - too Americanized.

Gee, I just finished saying on the last post that I don't like oysters and here I am saying I don't like mussels, either. I'm really not that fussy about food . . .

I can't believe these fools who won't eat moules. Maybe they should just stay in the US where they don't have to try anything "exotic"!
