French girl?
Retro bicycle..
pouring rain...
stylish lace-up boots...
black swing-coat...
wicker basket...
and, of course, a precisely wrapped scarf
Yes, she's a French girl...

Nice boots and composition.
Happy New Year Genie and was great to have a visit from you, thank you.
Very stylish French girl and a great way to get around Paris on a bicycle.
hugs

Another fun, wonderful capture for the day, Genie!! Thanks for sharing your lovely French world!!
Love those boots!!!
Could be an expat girl? :)
Love her boots!

The boots are cool!
Une gazelle maxinette ! La Rolls des vélos de ville !
I really like this photo. Most people would have taken a picture of the woman on her bike. Instead you zeroed in on a small section of the scene with excellent results. I think those boots were in style in 1900.
Yes please, I would like a pair of boots just like those! Thank you!
Those are some killer boots. Very chic!
Great detail shot.
Bien sur ! :)
French ladies know how to wear pick just the right shoes.
Vraiment! J'adore les bottes!
Such style!
I want those boots! Happy New Year from Sydney F xx
Yes, French girl. And on behalf of American boys, I would like to request a photo of the entire French girl.
Dear Genie,
bonne année 2014
The boots are very french.

Andy, well I did take a photo of the whole girl, but as you pointed out this focused view is probably more interesting. Thank you.
Jack, tant pis pour toi et tous les autres. (hee hee)
