Printemps - les jambes

Printemps

This eclectic and brightly displayed window at Printemps is a collaboration
between Louis Vuitton and Chinese artist Yayoi Kusama.

The repetition of red dots with the assistance of mirrored surfaces is a favorite of mine.  The simplicity of the design has a great impact with this creative display.

A brilliant image Genie. It is quite fascinating how such a simple design has created such a complex image. Cheers J.

Red and black are wonderful contrasting colours. I'm certainly seeing lots of dots before my eyes.

Hello Genie:
This really is outstanding. Such fun and such a display of talent in conceiving and executing a brilliant idea.

Very amusing. Who doesn't love polka dots. They're so whimsical.

Cela attire l'oeil, avec quand même quelque chose de maladif. On pense davantage à une épidémie qu'a un ornement.

I must say that they have the most interesting and unusual window displays. I wonder who comes up with the designs and how often they change the window displays. Polka dots are in this year...at least in a lot of the fabric I've been seeing. :)

I have seen some of Yayoi Kusama’s work – in New York I think. She is very talented and does fun art.

Such an appealing window Genie, it would certainly draw me in.

If you explained this concept to me, I'm sure I would've been dazed and confused. But, seeing it...well, it's quite appealing. Good eye! I doubt I would've stopped for this shot, which is one of many reasons why I enjoy visiting your blog.

Proche du pop-art, non?

This is a fabulous photo! Sometimes I think Printemps does windows better than anyone, but this one is pretty masterful! Nice shooting with a minimum of reflection!
