La Tour Eiffel et le carrousel

La Tour Eiffel
Le Carrousel avec énergies renouvelables*

*(probably not a good translation of "Carousel with renewable energy")

Even though I have seen the Eiffel Tower many times
in all seasons, all weather, different times of day,
I never cease to be amazed at how huge it is.

about 100 feet from the base of the tower and it is totally dwarfed.

I agree Genie. Your shot really dramatizes the enormity of the Eiffel Tower.

Le seul carrousel vraiment écologique, c'est celui où il faut pédaler pour qu'il tourne. Il y en a un au musée des arts forains.

Magnifique photo, j'aime!

Ha! The tower looks "life-size" and the carrousel like a toy! Lovely shot --- especially the crisp LED lights of the carrousel contrasting with the warm, golden glow of ET.

Glad to see the French are using some renewable energy sources. Now, if they could just figure out that smoking and exploding the population are not good things.

As impressed as I am that the carrousel is "écologique," I much prefer the warm yellow lights of the ET. Great shot, Genie!

It doesn't matter how many times you show photos of the Eiffel Tower, they always look different. I never get tired of looking at it from all the various angles. It's hard to imagine that the carrousel is actually larger than what it looks like in the photo.
