Les fleurs de Paris

It may be November,
but there is never a shortage of flowers in Paris

Today I am thankful for all the friends from around the world
that I have come to know through the blogs

You point out one of the things «Louis» noticed in his time(s) in France - flowers can be found almost everywhere, often in unexpected places.

Lovely colourful winter flowers. Although we don't know a "Thanksgiving", I wish you a nice day, it is always good to reflect sometimes.

I'm grateful it's peony season here, but all flowers remind me to be thankful. And those moss-covered pots are very sweet. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, dear Genie...

So thankful you found my blog while I was posting from Nice last summer! Looking forward to many more "cybernetic" moments (if that is a word...) until we meet one day, hopefully sooner rather than later. Happy Thanksgiving, Genie! (Veronique)

Beautiful flowers. I am grateful for the friendship that you bring to us via you're lovely and informative photos. Without them, we would not have the "peek" into France that they bring.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Aaaah, quelle belles fleurs! My faves are the little bouquets that used to be sold on the street in the wintertime (am I dating myself?). Hope you and your family are having a wonderful Thanksgiving, with all the turkey and football you want!

Chere Genie,

I do hope your Thanksgiving was full of love and beauty! Thank you for sharing your lovely gifts with the world..
So happy to see you "chez moi"..I have only seen the outside of Garnier. I can only imagine the great beauty of those paintings in person!
And how I love these Parisian flowers..even in the middle of winter. Magical!
Bises,
- Irina :)

Gorgeous! I love the colours! When I look at this photo, it feels like Spring..which is surprising, as you say, because it's November!

Happy Thanksgiving to all. We are having a different celebration this year. No turkey/dressing/gravy... only a gallon of fresh Gulf oysters. For two people, that's a lot of oysters. Stay tuned...

Bises,
Genie
