Le Square Trousseau

I have seen this restaurant/café on three or four trips to Paris
but have never stopped for a coffee.
Why, you ask?

I am always full from a stop at blé sucré or from the other direction,
the pâtisseries of Marché d'Aligre...

Perhaps the next time

Restaurant Le Square Trousseau

Il faut d'abord que tu passes à la pâtisserie avant de t'attabler à cette jolie terrasse.

Being between two great bakeries is a bad place for a restaurant! :o)

This is just as I remember the restaurants in Paris. It looks so familiar. Perhaps I had a bite between French icons at this spot.

Since you have been a regular passerby, you OWE it to yourself and them to stop for awhile!! Lovely scene as all Paris cafes seem to be.

This café/restaurant is right next to the apartment where I stayed in July 2010 and 2011! I had breakfast there last year on my very first day, right after arriving to Paris. Good memories! ;-)

Well, at least you have a good excuse (or two)! It does look awfully inviting, though—and plenty of tables free!

Hmm, an empty terrace on a sunny day. That might be a bad sign...

Gosh Genie,

It must be hard walking past all of these cafe's and restaurants and not stopping in every few blocks. LOL I wouldn't get very far for sure!

I am always ready for a little coffee and people watching.

Love that wonderful shade of yellow against the brown wood. Very inviting scene....I'm also wondering why no customers.....

Well, the reason there is no one in the cafe is that it is too early on a Sunday morning

Next stop....... Paris!!

The place looks quite inviting. Maybe they also have a couple of nice desserts that could satisfy that huger for sweeties... :)
God bless you!
