Stepping out of the shadows

On the cobbled narrow Rue Cortot, we find this prince stepping out of the shadows of Musée de Montmartre. He may have disappeared by now.

Awesome! I love le Petit Prince de St Exupery. It was good seeing him again. From a new follower, Veronique aka French Girl in Seattle (posting from Nice, Côte d'Azur for a few more days ;-)

Oh, sweet and drole! I love the way the sunlight falls on him, too. I hope you're having a beautiful week, Genie.

He looks as if at any moment he will step out of the doorway and race down the street! Great capture, Genie! ^_^

Funny fellow, looking handsome with his blond hair and waving scarf. What about your comment about the pond yesterday, I watched it closely and it is a frog. I don't think it is a fountain because there was another already in the pond. You are a keen watcher anyway!

What a wonderful find.

Sweet! I love the Little Prince, though this modern version of him looks more like Charlie from Charlie and Lola. I'll stick to the original I think.

Il ressemble certainement au petit prince de Saint Exupéry. Un petit prince qui pourrait marcher hors d'un mur.
Photo passionnante. Bien sûr!

What a great find. Paris is always full of surprises and how fortunate we are that you have a keen eye to find those surprises!

Did you draw a sheep for him? did you give him a rose?.. if not, maybe he's gone now..

The "guy" is so nice. Nice capture :)

Well, at least their street artists are fans of French literature.

Nice find, Genie! I was kind of thinking what Dive said and wondering what St. Exupéry would think of this rendition.

To all who recognized this prince I salute you. I knew him in an instant but preferred his old fashioned look.

Maylss, I should have offered him a rose!

He was found on the door leading from the street into the courtyard of the museum. My guess is that I will not see him there again, but one never knows.

I am in the land of "the mouse" again but will fly home tomorrow with the help of some Tinkerbell dust (and prayers for the Delta bird)

A bientot,
Genie
