Orange scooter!

An orange scooter? And where is it's owner?

Quelle chance! It is Virginia's and she is ready to take off -- zoom zoom!

Today is the beginning of my second month with Paris and Beyond -- Many thanks to Virginia who helped birth "the baby" guiding me through the steps. Thanks also to JB who distracted us both from afar.

Merci, mes amis!

And doesn't V look like an elegant Parisienne! I've really enjoyed your first month, Genie—and looking forward to more of Paris through your eyes.

Brittany, a vibrant color -- have not seen orange ones before and this one really brightened the street.

Paris Paul -- Merci, and see you on the streets of Paris!

Alexa -- I love that we were both thinking "orange" for today! Loved your blog post with orange today.

Merci, merci mon amie!! I may LOOK ready to hop on and and zoom off but we all know that I would never have the nerve to ride this cute scooter on the streets of Paris (or anywhere else for that matter!). It has been great fun helping you launch PAB! I too look forward to many more of your great photos.

And Alexa, thank you for the nice compliment, but I'm afraid I haven't fooled ANYONE into thinking I am a Parisienne, ya'll!

Virginia, I know that you would not dare "zoom-zoom" but it looks to be as vibrant as you -- glad the owner didn't catch the three of us pawing his scooter - hah!

JB, thanks for your help in getting this blog started as well -- you kept us laughing through it all.

Thanks for stopping in with a comment. Quelle surprise! (wink)

My first thought was, "Hey someone left their purse on that scooter and it's wide open!" Our mentality in this day and age of guarding our possessions from thieves, I guess. Love the pics, wish I were in them, LOL!

Ninny -- If you look in the rear view mirror you can see the b/w jacket worn by Virginia -- she was very close to her purse. Thanks for posting a comment today - Bon Weekend!

Harriet -- It was a great time and there were many new friends made -- Lots of laughter!

Genie
I love the orange scooter photo - I was convinced V was it's avant garde owner!

I'm really enjoying your blog, tho this is my first real blog hopping day for a while!
Take care
Shane

I was about to be very impressed at Virginia zooming around Paris on this cheerful little number ~ it suits her!

I have this image of our V zipping through Paris on this orange scooter.

Shell and Rob -- I think that's why I liked this photo so much. We can just imagine Miss Personality (which you can divine from her blog even if you have never met her) tearing through the streets of Pareee, scarf flying behind in the breeze! zoom-zoom!

HA!!!! you all give me much too much credit. I'm a girly girl and I might have a scarf flying but it won't be on a scooter. That said, The orange is very cute. Maybe that's why I picked it for a place to drag out my camera from my backpack. The spotted coat is for JB who dearly LOVES it! :) Heeeee Truth be known, he's been all over the internet hunting up one for Mrs. JB!

That's VIRGINIA?!! Hell, I thought it was one of those characters from one of those ESPN Saturday morning huntin'/shootin'/fishin' programs in a camoflage smock and an elk decoy.
I couldn'y work out why it was on PaB

JB, I have to run around in camo in Paris to keep all those men at bay!

jb said...

Good thing you were wearing it, else I would have found you irresistible.
Plus those Chinese peasant chaussures..

LOL!!!
I an very aware JB, that NOONE in Paris found me irresistible. Now I realize it was my comfy but admittedly very goofy shoes that were the turn off! Tant pis pour moi.
