This large, family-friendly park has an elongated track 

for scooters, skates, bikes, and unicycles.  

Yes, I saw one.  

The pace is fast and furious.  

Parents linger along the outside rails 

enjoying a warm autumn Sunday afternoon.

This is not your typical blue door in Paris, but a deep azure taken from the Mediterranean palette.  The architectural design is crisp with fine detail but I do not know the architect.

The red scooter was a bonus.

My fascination with les motocyclettes in Paris has become more focused on the details. This scooter has many accessories: windshield, wipers, roof and semi-enclosed cab, a trunk for storage, headrest. The leather guards for feet and hands seem quite necessary for a gentleman professionally dressed such as this.

You may remember the brightly-colored cafe cups I posted on January 15th... Well a talented painter asked to use the photo as inspiration for one of her original pieces... When I saw it all I could say is "Wow!" Carol Schiff Studio has amazing paintings, many with the impressionists style that I adore. Mille mercis, Carol!

After walking the streets of Paris all morning and a lovely dejeuner with mes amies Virginia and Marie, it was tempting to select a color and GO!

Quelle chance! It is Virginia's and she is ready to take off -- zoom zoom!

Today is the beginning of my second month with Paris and Beyond -- Many thanks to Virginia who helped birth "the baby" guiding me through the steps. Thanks also to JB who distracted us both from afar.
