Église Saint Germain des Prés

Église Saint Germain des Prés

The 1,000 year old tower
reigns over the remainder of the church.

The recent renovations make the tower appear
almost white against the bright blue skies.

I Read it is the oldest religious building of Paris. (How easy is to say it!)
Very good angle, besides the season, sky is bluer when sun is at one's back.

It's impressive the contrast between the steadiness and longevity of the tower, and the fragility and short life of the tree's leaves.
Thanks for sharing Genie. Blessings.

Enjoyed the patterns formed by the climbing vine.

Gorgeous blue sky. It seems there have been a lot of those this winter.
