Chapelle Notre Dame des Anges

Chapelle Notre Dame des Anges

The plain street exterior of this church belies
the exquisite Gothic Revival architecture of the interior.

There are nearly forty stained glass windows,
each with a story to tell.

The columns, the arches, the angles all accentuate the desire to reach for the heaven Genie.

It looks beautiful. I have done little exploration of Paris's smaller churches and chapels -- they must be very interesting.

About plain street exterior, the same occurs with the external "imperfections" of humble persons. They have God inside too.

Beautiful image! For me the golden shine in the less lit depth is a master class! It says to me: "Gold is too heavy to reach heaven, leave it down, on the ground".
Thank you very much Genie, I really enjoyed the whole image. I completely agree with Joe, it's great and inspirational photo.
