Chaussures d'or

Gold shoes (petite)

Can you imagine how thrilled
a little girl would be
to wear these petite gold shoes,
to twirl in her full skirt
as she watches the little gold puppy-dogs dance?

I think my (not so little) girls would still get a kick out of these shoes!

Several years ago I saw a similarly styled pair of flats in Athens. I thought about them for more than a week while in Santorini and Crete and could not wait to get back to Athens before returning home with them tucked into my carry-on. Sadly, it was Saturday and there were strikes - the shop was closed and I could even see them in the window.

The moral to this story is...

Bises,
Genie

So nice. Love the sharp focus on the shoes and bokeh elsewhere.

They sure are cute and I love the reflections of the shoes and the bear. I wish could all be in Paris right now! :-)
