Isn't that the truth.

I always love photos that have a splash of colour in an otherwise drab pallette! This is lovely, as is your haiku.

Hello Genie:
Simple and so very effective with the pink against the grey.

That is such a strange contrast between all this Virginia creeper dead and those three little flowers so alive... Nice picture indeed.

(thanks for your message on my blog, concerning my cat ; it went right to my heart)

Genie,

I love this capture. The purple flowers are indeed bright and cheery up against the off white finish on the building.

Is this a polite way to tell me that my English is THAT bad ?! (huge smile)

(Très bien madame la Parisienne d'Alabama : j'écrirais désormais mes commentaires en français pour vous complaire... ;)

Moi aussi, j'écris mes commentaires et je lis des blogs en anglais pour le pratiquer aussi souvent que je peux)

The cyclamen are so perfect that they look artificial. The most common flowering plant seen in Paris window boxes is the geranium, probably for its hardiness. These shades of pink cyclamen are a delightful contrast to the surrounding scene.

Thank you for all your comments today... enjoy your weekend!

Bises,
Genie

What is it about French windows? :) I've never seen a single one that could be considered slightly ordinary. All extraordinary! Love this.
