La Vinoteca - la terrasse

La Vinoteca

There is nothing quite as perfect in Paris as déjeuner on la terrasse complete with good service and crisp linens.  These are not your usual café chairs but colorful, comfortable and bit upscale.

Well, they were not quite ready the day I happened by La Vinoteca, but I did capture a handsome young man preparing the tables for the lunch crowd...
peut-être une autre fois

J'adore this shot, Genie. The cheerful green chairs are a nice change from the traditional café chairs. The photo still has a very Parisian feel to it, somehow... Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Hello Genie:
All so very French! As indeed is the waiter preparing the tables with a professional casualness.

Oooh—very inviting! Looks like your handsome young man is working his way down this row of tables, but I wonder why he skipped one.

What about the ghost in the upper left of the photo?

Ooooooo.. spectacular in green and white! And i love that shade of green. So inviting and such a feast for the eyes. :) I'd almost want to leave those crisp white linens alone. They looks so perfect.

This is a gorgeous shot, dear friend! Isn't it always a fun surprise to see splashes of Parisian color?
So glad you stopped by for a visit...no surprise that your sisters are creative too! I so admire the painstaking process of quilting...
And you may be right...needlepoint!

I do not think that the green chairs are typical of Paris, but there was nothing in this scene that looked out of place. Well, they should remove the white tags on the chair cushions...

Starman, I do believe that it is a ghost!

I would be happy to sit at the tables sans white starched tablecloth... I think that it makes the meal just a bit more expensive.

Oh, if you did not click over to see the waiter, you are missing out...

Bises,
Genie

I love the way the armrests seem to intertwine. Great capture. Well spotted Genie.
