Galeries Lafayette - prêt-à-porter

"Click!"

clandestine, concealed, confidential, covert,
furtive, hush-hush, incognito, stealth, surreptitious...

Need I continue?

For years now I have been stalking this department
for its designs, color, textures.
I have only been commanded once to cease shooting
and that was in the very secretive shoe department.

Stay tuned for news...
I'm going back in!

Naughty, naughty, but the textures are so nice there, I always like to watch and touch the designer clothes.

So festive, shiny and sparkly! It's a veritable feast for the eyes! I am amazed at your stealth photography skills! (The shoes with the little animal faces were too cute not to photograph) :)

Tu as un très-très beau blog!
I love your way of seeing THE picture!
Your header is glorious!
I was partly raised in Paris and although I think it is the most beautiful city in the world, I prefer the countryside!
I have been through your last posts, I truly find your photography absolutely stunning: subjects, framing, composition... it is just perfect!
A blog to come back to!
Mes amitiés et bonne continuation, Génie!

Oh, very delightful colors!! Sometimes I need a dress like these when I feel melancholy. I am sure they will uplift my heart. "secretive" is always intriguing!!
Have a great week!

Hello Genie:
So very, very tactile and wonderfully colourful.

And is there just a hint that you may soon be in Europe?

Our comment, written early this morning, appears to have disappeared. So very odd.

Hi Genie,

I love all the bright colors! You are a fantastic "sneak"...if anyone can "click" and get away with it, my bets on you! :)

I'm excited for you...

Fabulous, Genie! You are a sneaky snapper after my own heart—and I can't wait to see more, ma chère. I'd be green with envy of your new trip if I wasn't headed for the Galapagos. It's not Paris, but hey ... :~}

When I get positive feedback, it just challenges me to go again and to new places. One never knows when one might get thrown out!

The fabrics in these designs are delightful to the touch and a treasure for the eyes. I think that the array of textures and colors gives the appearance of an enviable wardrobe filled with the light, bright secondary colors.

Alexa, now I am the one with green eyes!

Joe, night vision goggles? check!

Jody and Stan, nice to see you here and merci beaucoup.

Noushka, your wildlife photos are beyond compare. Merci beaucoup.

Oh, you would think that I have a little palm held camera for my spy work... Well, I do have a small underwater camera that I always have with me. Unfortunately, I bought it in bright orange! I had my big honking camera with me in GL and so sneaking is not that easy. I do have some techniques that I will share with you one day.

Thanks for the supportive comments today, and I'll think of you next week when they carry me off in handcuffs -- hah!

Bises,
Genie
