Zoom-zoom - Jardin du Luxembourg

Unless you have seen Jardin du Luxembourg on a weekend afternoon you cannot imagine the number of activities, families, children, singles...

Yes, you can even have a pony ride, a real one.
You can ride a carrousel with brass rings.
You can play a game of Pétanque.
You can sail a boat.
You can read a book while seated in a green chair with your feet propped on a fountain.
You can frolic on a playground that would never be allowed in our litigious country.

You can even get pulled around in a little green roadster... zoom-zoom!

Now that is great shot, Genie. I would know this was taken in France even if I had never heard of your Paris "fixette." ;-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Oh, yes! Such a great shot it is! And, yes, it is SO FRENCH! I love it and wish I could stroll through the park tomorrow! Hope your week is going well, mon amie!

Ah; Le jardin du Luxembourg encore. Une photo délicieuse d'un père avec son fils (je pense). Ou peut-être un grand-père?

Merci. Une photo très joli, Génie.

The Jardin du Luxembourg is one of my favourite places in Paris! This green car is great, I would have loved to be pulled around a park this way.

Great shot and the guy is wearing a real french baret. So no mistake there this must be in paris.

nice shot! le luxembourg, jardin de mon enfance... les bateaux dans le bassin, les vieux de 18 ans qui s'embrassent près de la fontaine médicis, les manteaux bleu-marine, les trottinettes...

zoom-zoom, indeed. what a tender papa, so careful as he takes his child on a ride through the garden

I loved this little guy, letting papa do all the work!

The weekends at any park in France (or Europe for that matter) are pretty much the same.

That's some snappy roadster! You could have called this "Must Be French Guys." :~}

Everybody should wish to sit in that car and be pulled by a handsom frenchman. Ah, to be a child again....

Sweet image Genie. It must be cold there...they are both bundled up!

Alexa, I think that I should start a new label. Why should there only be "must be a French girl" and not "must be a French guy" too? Merci beaucoup!

This little car looks like the ones I have seen in the little toy store near Place Maubert. Wish that I could get home with one of these in red (of course)! I do not think that it would count as "carry on" luggage, hummmm......

Bises,
Genie

I have said the same thing about that amazing playground so many times :)
