Paris -- La Ville-Lumière

Late afternoon on a cloudy December day, the clouds parted and a beam of light illuminated the distant buildings of the Marais.

All I can say is.... wow.

T -- I think that it almost looks like an ancient city in the distance.

Amanda -- Merci, I hope you are enjoying your travels

Alexa -- I am without my camera right now and have decided to stick my little underwater camera in my bag when I can't take the SLR. Did you see that moon crescent (sliver)at dusk tonight?

London Caller -- Thank you for your visit. You have some amazing landscapes too.

JM -- Merci

Ebie -- I agree with you. Paris anytime!!

Parisian -- I was fortunate with this shot, but the light in Paris is amazing.

...you found the Golden City! Really amazing, and the affect of the clouds with the light blue sky peaking through certainly lends a certain drama to the whole scene.
