for la Tour Eiffel but it looks quite settled among the paper houses.  

The trees and Haussmann buildings seen in the window reflection 

add to the setting.

This charming boutique in Galerie Vivienne 

displays an exquisite collection of scarves and shawls 

in silk, challis, wool, and cashmere.  

This highly regarded, family-owned textile business dates back to 1875, 

and is still managed by the Wolff family.

The colors and designs are delicious,

and I understand that all the fabrics are limited editions.

This chic boutique nestled in the narrow streets of Saint Germain des Prés has remarkable windows.  The awnings are truly three-dimensions but the curtains of black-white stripes are flat and permanent against the inside of the window.  The bright lighting always makes a striking sight on Rue de l'Abbaye.

The feminine couture of Turkish-born designer Yesim Chambrey are remarkably girly and fashionable.  It is an approachable boutique and worth a look.

Sylvie Guillon, stylist and designer by profession, placed her charming boutique in the heart of the Marais long before it was fashionable.  She has carefully assembled an array of European designers from France, Belgium, Spain, and Italy, all in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.  The jewelry designs are eclectic and unique, and she has a great collection of scarves and accessories.  

Scarves?  I need to return.
