Mairie de Nogent-sur-Marne

Mairie de Nogent-sur-Marne

Just east of Bois de Vincennes are a series
of beautiful villes situated along the Marne river.
If you take the RER A to Nogent-sur-Marne,
the Mairie is only a one block walk (west).

It almost looks like scene from a fairy tale

This is beautiful place, Genie, but I will have to win Powerball before I can spring for it.

Is it a home? Is it a hotel? It looks fascinating, whatever it is.

Blessings and Bear hugs!

A very grand residence here Genie. If only those walls could talk. Thanks for the travel tip and RER references.

Is this where you need to make sure your on a "local" RER and not an "express" so that you can actually get off at the stop you want and not fly right past it? ;) An absolutely beautiful place and photo!

It certainly does have that fairy tale sensibility to it.

Ah, Marie, you remember! Rob-Bear, this is the 'mairie' of Nogent-sur-Marne which is the "town hall." The word 'mairie' is carved in the stone of the building above the doors indicating that it was actually built for this purpose. It is in a beautiful setting which is bien sûr in the center of town.

Bises,
Genie
