Canal Saint Martin

Canal Saint Martin

This young boy and man captured my attention
as each seemed to be in deep thought.

The scene left me
with more questions than answers

We should all put our damned phones away more often, shouldn't we? Including me.

First thought: older dad, adoring son.

I have a completely candid shot of my young daughter, also in monochrome, also deep in thought. Enchanting images

The phone does ruin the bond, doesn't it? We were in a coffee shop yesterday and by the time I got the coffee to the table, everyone in my family was looking at their phone rather than talking to each other. Sigh.

Nice photo, but glad to see I'm not the only one fed up with the hand toys. Were I in Paulita's shoes, I would hope to have had the courage to get up and leave the table. Do people understand they are really being quite rude?

I love this shot, Genie. Such a serious expression on such a small face.
Paulita, maybe it's time to institute Rule # 1: No phones at the table!! :~}
