L'Eure à Chartres

L'Eure à Chartres

Not only will you find the magnificent cathedral in Chartres,
but a quiet place to stroll along the river Eure,
stopping for a cup of tea, a delicious lunch,
or an assortment of pastries.

The relaxed pace of life here is a welcome reprieve
from the rush of daily life.

bon weekend

Hello Genie:

Many years ago having visited the wonderful Cathedral [such glass] it would appear that the delights of the town itself were somewhat overlooked. Somewhere else calling out for a return visit!

Definitely a place worth visiting, leaving Paris behind for a couple of hours!
