Cimetière du Montparnasse - printemps

Montparnasse Cemetery

Spring blows into Paris,
scattering fresh blossoms
like pastel confetti

May they last in my memories forever

Lovely ... Confetti is exactly what it looks like. I am sure the soft fragrance lingered in the air as well ... J'adore printemps!

Gorgeous. The green on the trees is so bright and tender. The carpet of petals -- amazing.

The patterns of tombstones give this shot a very dignified, tranquil kind of quality. Beautiful lighting, too.

Wonderful composition! I love the neutral stone with bands of color top and bottom.

Thank you for your comments and I wish that you could have been with me there to see all of the purple petals. The paths were lined with them like a carpet. It was a lucky moment to be there as the petals were raining down all around. Our shoes were covered with purple confetti.

Bises,
Genie
