Spotted in a vacant store window on Rue de Turbigo. The shop was being renovated and these "fragile" models had been covered and protected for the transformation.

So, our story continues... Do you recognize our cute "jeune garçon" from yesterday? He is the one smiling above with the huge snowball, uh hunk of ice...
...and now he takes one in the back by the kid with the striped hat! Pow!
After a rousing battle with snowballs accompanied by the laughter of kids playing, it was time to leave the park.


A talented and dear artist, Carol Schiff, has again honored one of my photos with her beautiful oil interpretation. These are the French sailors I featured on my very first post (July 14, 2010) and you can see the original here. But look at what Carol has created!



Just across from Ma Bourgogne at Place des Vosges, was a gallery of eclectic art. This colorful heart of hearts by David Kracov seems just the perfect valentine from me to you*. His wall sculpture of enamel on metal is entitled "Look within your Heart"
