This fountain and the moving silver balls make for interesting reflections in the Gallery d'Orléans, in the Jardin du Palais Royal shown previously here.
Oh you know I"m grinning frm ear to ear! One of my favorite photos is of Davis and Eva and their friends walking around the edge of this fountain in a line! V
Gennie, this is another terrific shot of the fountain! Do you remember I mentioned Anish Kapoor when I saw the previous silver balls photo? Well, my contribution to James' Weekend Reflections is one of his works I spotted in London! We both have silvery reflections today! :-)
Once again, I'm with Bibi. Maybe I wanted the Palais Royal to always look as it did when I first fell in love with it. It's pretty cool the way you managed to capture these reflections more or less "anonymously."
This is a great subject of reflection (thanks for stopping the mouth-watering reflection of pastry : I was taking weight by just looking at them ;D )... I like this kind of modern art : it always give a very unique point of view on a city...
Went to your original post, because I was curious where this sculpture stood - very ingenious and artful -a fountain! Have to visit that next time I come to Paris

I originally didn't like these balls when I first discovered them, but they've kind of grown on me! :)
I shall sit here and reflect on life for a while, Genie.
oh gorgeous reflections
Lovely image the reflections are great.
I can't believe that I haven't been there yet! Will have to go in december. Nice job of the reflections without getting you in it too!
That is so, so cool Genie! I love!
I think what I liked the best was slowly realizing that some of them moved! Love the way your photo captures the jardin in the balls themselves.
Holly, you will be fascinated by the engineering of this fountain!
I especially like the reflections on the right.

It looks like giant set of boules - very French.
I want to clean them up! To prepare my canvas for
those wonderful reflections...

Alexa -- Ah, yes I knew that you would discern the photographer sitting on the ground -- quite the detective you are!
Jenny -- They do look like boules!
Margaret -- I am with you -- where is the Windex?
Quel sujet ! Magnifique cliché, très réussi !

These moving balls create such a wonderful set of mobile reflections! Love this photo!
'Tsuki -- Oh, but I have more! (hehe) I love this "art in motion" also.
Greyscale -- Yes, and that makes it hard to stay out of the reflections!

I will NOT make a pun on "balls". I've promised myself...must resist, must resist, must resist
