Yes—you chose very well, mon amie. Paris is a tough town in winter for anyone who suffers from SAD. (But, then, if you can hang in until summer, you're rewarded with light until late at night!)
Malyss -- On Sundays I want to show more of the church, but the light on these empty chairs was too compelling... merci
Cynthia -- Merci, mon amie
Virginia -- Thanks, I was chasing more rain and snow but was relieved to get some sun/shadows.
Bibi -- Merci!
Alexa -- Summer in Paris can really wear you out if you are up for all the daylight hours, but great for the photographer!
JM -- Merci, you are a master of lightbeams
Margaret -- I think that this is the arrangement in many of the large churches of Paris with the rows closest to the altar having the kneeling benches.
Starman -- So glad that you like it... I hope that I do not have to answer the "favorite" question because it will center on where I was able to capture the best photos
Cezar -- Merci, mon ami... I enjoy your Sunday visits. God bless you and Léia as well.
EG -- Merci! I wish that I could have bottled just a bit of it to spread around Paris that week, but there is never a bad time in Paris regardless of the clouds, heat, snow, cold.......

I find it a great idea to look for the sun inside of a church! This picture is simple but very strong and tells a lot! I like it very much!
I love this picture, the light is really beautiful!
Oui, I chased the sun and shadows the few days we had as well. I love this one a lot Genie. Well done my friend.

Good one, Genie!

Brilliant composition, Genie! Beautiful light.
A beautiful shot and an unusual subject - the chairs all joined, nothing to kneel upon, raising questions
as to where it is, and how it works!
I think l'Église Saint-Eustache is one of my top five churches in Paris.
This kind of simplicity is so warm! I love it.
God bless you!

This is a wonderful photo. And I just realized that I've never been inside Saint-Eustache ! Can you believe it? Something must be done !
o2 -- You are right "there" and I know that you will quickly get to St-E... Can't wait to see the photos!
An amazing blend of light and line — multiple lines, actually. Very well done.
I think I'll take sunshine pictures indoors... so cold over here! Lovely photo.
I love the light on these chairs. Peaceful looking shot.
Miss Sadie -- Many thanks, my dear.
Abby -- Merci... Even to find a little spot in the sun makes one feel warmer
Randy -- Thanks, and it was so very quiet that day... I think that everyone was outdoors enjoying those 3 hours of sun - hah!
I'm glad you finally did see some sun! I LOVE the sun on the backs of the chairs and the shadows on the floor.

Nice catch! I like the shadows.
Three hours of sunshine ... and you went inside! Well, you did well, the photo is the proof! :-)
