the primary organ

This great organ comes from the instrument built 

by the renown Aristide Cavaille-Coll in 1894 for the mansion of Baron Espée.  

It was moved from the Baron's residence on 

Avenue Bois de Boulogne to Saint-Antoine in 1909.

Although it is not as majestic 

as many of the well-known churches in Paris, 

this is an active parish in the 12é 

with some lovely details and a great organ 

by Aristide Cavaille-Coll.

Église Saint-Antoine-des-Quinze-Vingts

Built in 1902, the Neo-Gothic style with light-colored brick (and a working clock!) belie the lovely interior with its Cavaille-Coll organ.  Based on several stops here and a visit to the church's website, it has an active congregation.
