Belmont Restaurant by Alfred Bernardin

Belmont  Restaurant
turquoise cafe chairs

It was too early for the lunch crowd
and it was more than a bit chilly on the terrace.

This restaurant is found in the Montorgueil quartier
in a former showroom on Rue Réaumur.
The dining area has a very high ceiling
and is set on two levels.
The decor is an eclectic collection of
vintage and original designs creating a unique atmosphere.

bon weekend

Hello Genie:

These chairs are utterly divine - that colour - and so wonderfully distressed. And the interior, from what you write, sounds more than a little interesting too.

Jó hétvégét!! [email winging its way to you, hopefully, after a busy weekend!! xxx]

These tables and chairs are not what I typically expect when I think of Paris cafes, but what a delightful change. Like the color and the pattern made by the row.

I like the way the street is reflected. It gives a good feeling of the mood of the place.
Have a nice week-end!

I remember thinking that those chairs looked as if they were new, made to look old. Maybe, maybe not?

I dunno, Genie. I love Paris and al fresco dining and people watching, but those turquoise chairs and table tops look hideous! Maybe that is why no one is there.

The logo design is quite striking.

Charming to look at...but are they comfortable enough to while away the hours sipping a cafe??
