Jardin du Palais Royal - des étirements

Jardin du Palais Royal

Some stretches before a run.
How did she ever tear herself away
from the mesmerizing view of that incredible fountain?

Terrific shot Genie. Let me see ... run or sit by the fountain .. run or sit by the fountain? Think I'll sit be the fountain.

I don't know how she managed to do that! But what a great photo, really captured the moment!

Genie, I meant to thank you for reminding me that there was a fountain at Palais Royal. I've avoided Palais Royal recently due to all the construction and special events. I wandered through the gardens my last week in Paris and it is a beautiful, quiet place to sit and enjoy the day.

A nice place to linger, in the shade with the cooling fountain on hot summer days.

She has probably seen it so often, she doesn't even notice it any longer!

Jeff, I am glad you made it there again. We were staying nearby and walked through the garden each day. I never tire of its quiet spaces.

Starman, I think that there is some truth to your statement, but at least she is facing that glorious fountain as she stretches.

Anne, I do not know how, but the fountain always seems to sparkle. I did see it once in the freezing temps of winter when it was full of chunks of ice and slush.

Bises,
Genie
