Le petit musicien

The little musician

Dressed warmly for the cold winter day, he played his red accordion.

Another generation passes down the music and traditions,
the dancing, the culture.

Sing a little, make some music, laugh until your sides hurt

Mais il doit avoir froid aux mains.
N'est-il pas dit qu'il est interdit de faire travailler les enfants... Comme je ne vois pas d'écuelle, ça ira pour cette fois !

If the enjoyment and concentration on his face is anything to go by, music will never leave him. Fabulous image Genie.

That is not an easy instrument to play -- I have tried and failed. He is very cute with his little accordion!

All together now: Aaaaaww! I wonder if he'll still want to play the accordion when he's 16, or if he'll want to switch to an electric guitar. (the former, I hope )

Ken Mac, so nice to see you again. Tu me manques.

Starman, it was a difficult decision to show this in black and white when the red of the accordion was so striking. I really do like portraits in b/w... perhaps I will show another of the shots (in color)

Thank you for letting me know that you like this one. It is one of my favorites and he was adorable (there with his family) with those long, long eyelashes!

Bises,
Genie
