Oh what a warm and enticing scene this is Genie, I'm off to see 'Cafe de Flore' today, so looking forward to it, have you seen it yet?

Aw, nothing like closing time especially for the man who's been there all day. Great photo.

I just came across a shot of this place while I was looking for something else. Mine wasn't nearly as good as this one though!

This is such a perfect location to meet a friend or a group of friends at any time of day. It has an interesting mix of Parisians and visitors, and a promise of a great view of the passing crowd. I love the mood here and as Peter pointed out it is adjacent to Palais Royal.

Martine, certes, nous allons y aller ensemble.

Diane, I am glad that you like the banner photo. It was taken from Pont des Arts looking toward Île de la Cité and Pont Neuf.

Anni, the Southern ladies do like the gracious service here... and the company.

Lala, I have spent hours on recent trips at Palais Garnier, and yes, I had a wonderful dinner at Opéra restaurant in November.

To all, I cannot think of anything more delightful than meeting friends on the terrace for coffee and pastries mid-morning... can we make it tomorrow?

Bises,
Genie
