Café du Centre - les chaises

This is in Paris, I promise, but it just looks a bit too pristine and new.

What do you think?

It looks delightful. And new. And Paris. Pourqoui pas?
But I think it would look nicer if there were some people, and some coffee cups, or wine glasses, or croissants. This picture looks much too sterile for lively, invigorating Paris.

Une photo prise peut-être un peu tôt dans la journée... tout le monde dort encore...peut-être!
Gros bisous.

I wouldn´t mind siting on one of these chairs, even if they are new ;-)
Love the colours of the chairs!

I'm sure I saw chairs like this in Paris Genie, even new they still have 'the Paris look'.. I didn't get a chance to comment yesterday, your man in the shadow, does look very intriguing, I was happy to see his hand was open and relaxed, so whoever he was he wasn't an 'uptight' mystery man haha!

très tôt le matin..? I never see scenes like this in Paris.. but then, I am not an early riser :-) Great picture though.
Glad you made it back home safely

They won't stay new and unoccupied very long..Come back at the end of summer, and they'll look veryyyy old! :o)

... that it must have been very early in the morning ... or a very cold day! ... and that the design is typical! :-)

It's true - the cafe furniture looks a little to new but is it about the chairs or the view from them.

Very early, indeed! I am not so surprised by the new looking chairs as I am by the new looking tiles! This must have been a recent remodel. Love the colors -- especially the more muted blue! Glad you're home safe ( though quite delayed)!!!

Hmmm...I just wonder how it is I can never find a seat in Paris...!

I like the red/turquoise thing they have going. The Paris rain will weather them in no time!

Looks like the Café du Centre decided to invest in brand-new chairs for the terrace. If business is brisk, they'll look "lived-in" in no time. Wish I could help with that right now!

GREAT. Good composition. And those colours are only found in a café of Paris.

I think that the café spiffed (not a French word) up the terrace for spring and summer with a new set of café chairs. I know that they are keeping with the same colors as I have a photo from a visit a year or two ago. I much prefer them to look a bit "used" or it looks like something that we would try to emulate here in the USA.

Wish I was sitting there right now with friends (all of you, bien sûr!)
